Your Love: A Valentine Poem for Jesus
by
Kay Em Evans
Your Love is a Mountain
I venture to climb
Your Love is a River
So endlessly wide
The darkness destroyed me
He tore me apart
But Your Light, it found me
You entered my heart
Your Love is a Refuge
My sanctuary
Your Love is a Fire
That´s burning in me
The evil one swooped in
He tried to steal me
But You are my Shepherd
I belong to Thee
Your Love is a Fountain
The True Living Spring
Your Love is an Ocean
The calmest Blue Sea
Your Love is the Sand
Your Love is the Sky
Your Love is the Hope
And the Light in my eyes
Your Love is true, Lord
For You are my King
Thank You for loving
And rescuing me

Month 2 of the World Race — Jesus was my Valentine. He is my Savior, my Hero, and THE BEST Valentine anyone could ever have. This is the poem I wrote for Him. I don’t have a copy, just a photo I took on my phone. The hardcopy I had was something I wrote while we were at the beach on our day off. I swam out into the water late that afternoon and left the poem for Him in one of the waves.
