My Reverie

Who am I that You should listen to me?
A mere mortal
Flesh
And yet, You hear my cries
And You see my tears
And You know my heart--
How it's been broken
Ripped apart
But You take the pieces
(What's left of me)
And sew them back together
Tenderly
Mending them
Mending me

You make all things new
Forever
Each day, I am renewed
Through Your Word
Through Your Grace
For tender mercy's sake
You are a King
The King
And I serve and worship only Thee
You are my Lord, my Lord
You are my Reverie
