A young man from our church (Alex) posted a video from the hospital last night. He is part of the Milligan University cross-country team. He and other members of the team were struck by a car while out running.
Here is the update from Alex: https://fb.watch/c6S_3QjW0W/
“Moments like this make you realize what is and isn’t important in life,” Alex says from his hospital bed, where he is recovering with a broken leg and dislocated shoulder. “Do not, do not, forsake or discount the beauty and the gift of life. It’s like a vapor, and it flashes before your eyes.”
Please be in prayer for him as he recovers in the hospital. Also please be praying for the Cramer family who lost their son, Alex’s teammate, Eli Cramer.
This tragic accident comes a few short months after the Milligan cross-country teams (both the men’s and women’s squads) swept the NAIA National Championships.
Eli Cramer was part of that team and, as a sophomore, received All-American honors for the second straight season. He was finishing his sophomore year of college when he died.
