Before I move along in my blog series Every Day Miracles I'd like to pause for a moment to say many, MANY thanks to all those who participated in World Race Day ($11 on 11/11). You guys FAR exceeded my expectations. Honestly. My fundraisers haven't exactly been what you'd call "spot on," and I told a friend I would be really happy if we'd raised $66 from the $11 on 11/11 event.
Well. Let me tell you. The donation processing center has finally updated my account with donations from yesterday, 11/11, and I've now learned that we didn't raise $66. We didn't raise $166 or even $266. No, we raised...are you ready?
$436!!!!
Yes, you read that right! Four hundred thirty-six dollars! That's more than I've raised in ALL MY OTHER FUNDRAISERS COMBINED.
I am truly, truly thankful and so very happy to make this announcement. What else can I say except God is AMAZING. He continues to wow me every day. I am in awe of His kindness, His mercy, and his mighty power.
